2019
GOLD continued science observations with Channel A throughout 2019, but Channel B observations were suspended until 2019.075 (March 16) when Channel B resumed Nighttime (NI1) observations. Upon the resumption of nighttime disk scans, certain housekeeping functions were rescheduled to another part of the day, allowing nighttime scans to continue for an additional half an hour. Specifically, nighttime observations were conducted in single channel mode (Channel B) from 2010 until 2310 when the observation mode switched to dual channel until 0040 UTC. In dual channel mode Channel A and Channel B scanned opposite hemispheres.
